The local access show

Spy Girls aired on local access television in Athens, Georgia, in the late 1990s. The two spies searched backroads for interesting people to talk to and interesting stuff to do.

They sniffed out the best vintage shops and country cookin’ cafes, and crashed small town festivals. They did skits and stunts, wore disguises, and made lo-fi spy gadgets.

They had the funnest times of their lives.

Spy Girls was produced and performed by Kristin Garrison (Spy Girl Maybonne) and Misty Blake (Spy Girl Starlene). Christopher Coleman directed, shot, and edited the show.

There were five episodes but each aired so many times that it seemed like there were dozens. Due to egregious copyright infringement, they can’t be shared in their entirety.
